I've been using this gun for the past 6 months in Anchorage Alaska, mostly in freezing temps and I dropped it twice once straight onto concrete but no problems just a mark on the casing. I have been very rough on the rafter hook just to see if it would break but it is fine. I love this gun. Jerry DelaVega

just bought this gun and im a little skeptical of its features and wondering why it took 2 years too cut 1 lb. off this gun, it is the same size? head wise if not bigger .2 the nose on this thing is xtra wide i think you could have angle the teeth without making it so wide . 3 the trigger style total sucks compared to my other pas lode NOT a smooth trigger grip at all. i can see blood blister already from this design. yea pas lode is the best gun out there. and i would not buy anything else..... but i truly dont think they took there proto type to the field before they started production model.

Only a pound lighter but its noticable after 8 hours. No kickback when nails are fired (no double firing, way safer). Mines got a metal hook so they must have figured that One out. Couldnt find it in canada so bought off ebay and nailing gun depot.com

I've been framing for 25 yrs,just bought 7 of these new guns,traded in my other 350 paslodes,I don't like the look of the rafter hooks but we'll see,hope their as good as the other guns have been I'll let you know paslode

We love the guns! In the last 10 months we have fired nearly 500,000 3 1/4" ring shank nails through each one. The only problems that we have had are broken negator springs (3)-they feed the nails into the gun, air deflector gaskets failing (2) and both guns needed poppet assemblies at the 300,000 nail mark. All parts were replaced under warranty. We are using 120lb pressure through 1/2" air line for fast cycle rates and maximum penetration. If only the Paslode nails were as good.

EXCELLENT upgrade from my powermaster plus workhorse! Tons more power and lighter. The plastic rafter hook looks cheesy but it hasn't broke yet. Good job Paslode!
