Product Reviews

Have liked the idea of a cordless roofing nailer for sometime and watched the reviews since this one came out. Ordered one and put down 12 squares yesterday in 4 hours using this gun and a bostitch side by side. The temperature was between 43-62 degrees and when I would stop to cut in one of the eight vent pipes the other guy would leave me the bostitch to use. I am not a full time production roofer by any means but am very pleased with the gun and understand there is a concern over it overheating. Had a few jams but so did the bostitch. No overheating issues but it was fairly cool November day. If it overheats I will buy another one and keep on hand! Will do the other half of the roof as soon as the weather clears. Larger quantity nail packs would be nice, bought nails from Zoro Tools online. B. Hunt 11-13 Charleston WV

Everyone knows there is nothing like an air gun....however like when I first bought the cordless framer almost 20 years ago I bought it just for small items that I didn't want to have to drag a hose and compressor on the job for....attic knee wall and other small items...the gun works great, just not made for production. Just bought a new roofer at a pawn shop for $200 not a bad deal..so look around a lot of people have purchased these guns and were expecting more then their purpose..paslode is a solid product.

I completely love paslode framer and finnish nailers, comiteded to purchase a roof naileras soon as was avalible. This was a big mistake, after two new roofers from The Home Depot ,I lost two days work because of the job. The Home Depot was grate and replace the first one, then my money back on the second.Paslode customer service never ansewred my phone call. I was completely disappointed with this product.I still love paslode products, but the roofer is a flop!

Does anyone know where I can purchase the 1-3/4 inch nails for this nailer? Thanks

Excellent gun, but the backpack sucks. When will Paslode offer a hard case???

no bump fire....

Finished a garage roof. I liked not having a hose to drag. That being said wont bump fire like my pnuematic roof gun. Took me longer to roof. I had some misfires where the nail would shoot but the driver made an impact. Paslode should create a case of 7200 nails with the gas canisters included.

I suggested this idea in one of the surveys that paslode sent me via email asking for opinions and suggestions. Wonder how many others suggested it until they finally came through to produce it.

I received the unit two days ago and was excited to try it out, only to find out that the unit does not work properly. The fuel injection mechanism is only injecting fuel every once in a while and not consistently. The only way that I can get the unit to function properly is to place a shim under the arm that actuates the fuel cell and then the gun will operate. Paslode support was no real help they told me I needed to take a BRAND NEW gun in for servicing before I have even used it.

Nailer is great!. Backpack is poor protection. I would like a hard case. Be nice if they had one for sale. As for fasteners, I bought a case of galvanized PASLODE roofing nails. They showed up and were the cheap electro-galvanized, not the nice ones that come with the nailer. CANT EVEN FIND THE PREMIUM NAILS ON THIS WEB SITE or order them!!!
